Riding Home Across America on My Himalayan 450 (Part 1)
I KNEW Something Was Wrong
/ 10:35
Here's the thing about plans: they're great until they're not.
I left Canada because Aerostich was right there. Aerostich was closed. So I decided to go to Utah, because I've never been to Utah, and that felt like reason enough. That's when I realized I was having the best time I'd had on this entire trip — and it was because I'd finally stopped trying to control it.
This is the first of two videos about getting home. Michigan to Minnesota to South Dakota, with a kinked chain, a storm system, and a woman named Norma who confirmed I'd made good choices. It ends on the side of the road in Hartford, South Dakota, which is not where I planned to be. But then again, nothing about going home went the way I planned.
Part Two is coming soon.
Special thanks to @RoyalEnfieldNorthAmerica and @sabatinomoto for supporting the trip.
